Hum, this one does sound strange Raju.

My initial thoughs,

1. Do you have copies of older assemblies containing the type
"Infologics.Medilogics.Common.giCommonData.CategoryType" installed in the
GAC?
2. What are you actually attempting to do when you get this exception?
