NotifyParentProperty

I have a Expandable property. I have the NotifyParentProperty attribute on
it. I cannot figure out how to wire up the event. I assume that the event is
the PropertyChanged event. Anyone have some samples or idea as to how to do
this?

Hello David,

I thought that your NotifyParentProperty is not working. This property
indicates that the parent property is notified when the value of the
property that this attribute is applied to is modified. Which event are you
trying to wire up? Please give more details or share some code so I can
better assist you.

I have a composite control. It has some properties. A couple of these
properties are expandable properties. I have the NotifyParentProperty
attribute on them. I would like my control to be notified when any of the
properties in the expandable property has been changed.

Hello David,
I would like to let you know that I am still working on this issue. I am
still not sure why the samples that I gave you didn't work for you.
In my sample the property NotifyParent is used and worked perfectly. Is it
because you are building a composite control which makes a difference?
Please let me know why you don't find the sample useful for this particular
case.

The bad news is that it is not fixed in VS.Net 2003. I have VS.Net 2003 and
the problem I reported still exists. Now what?

Hello David,
I tried on my machine which has Windows Xp with Visual Studio .Net 2003 and
it works perfectly. You might have a bad intall on your machine.
I don't have VS .Net 2002 on that machine though. I don't know if this will
affect it but it might.
Please let me know if you have both versions on your machine.
