End user report tool for asp.net

Currently working with Crystal Report 9 Developer version.

I want to enable end users of an asp.net application to create and
design reports. The preferred way of doing this is to embed an ActiveX
control in the browser so the integration is a little smoother. After
reading documentation, message boards, samples, etc. - I still cannot
determine if this is possible. Anyone have an insight?

Alternatively - anyone doing this with another software package?
Recommendations?
