IP protocol Printing, acts the Same as MS Printing, except the printer has
to be set up with it activated...

I know that to do this on 2000 and Back, you need to Click Add Printer, non
NetWork Printer (god knows why) add a new Port, and IP is under it...

Im not yet familiar with .NET's Printing capabilities, but I know that MS
Windows made greate leaps in Printing Driver Technology (way back in 3.1),
and that it allows people to print to ANYSource without caring how, or what
it is!
