I have a website where I use forms based authentication.

There's a couple links in there that go to another website that uses basic
authentication. How can I pass the credentials of the logged in user on the
first site when they click the link to access the second site?

On the querystring or as form elements.

Do the two sites share common components (database, cookies, etc.)?

They both authenticate against the same Active Directory domain. I've
having problems creating Exchange mailboxes while using Forms based
authentication, so I wanted to send admins off to another app that uses
basic instead of forms authentication.

How do you take something from the query string and push it into the
authentication dialog?
