Description:
Looking for a SAS Expert to work in NYC. Must have MVS experience and
strong Base SAS skills. This is a Production environment entirely
supported by SAS programs. They use very complex SAS Macros. This is
all Batch work using Base SAS, SAS Macros, +SAS-AF, Cobol a plus.
Should have strong MVS JCL and utilities exp, most of the work is
handling large SAS files and retrieving data from SAS files, matching
sequential datasets & SAS files, manipulate data and create reports.
Must know SAS Macros and Indexing. Some work will include working on
Accounting applications and accessing GL data.
Must be comfortable working in a very dynamic environment, lots of
quick priority changes and high pressure deliverables. Need to be
flexible to the rapidly and ever changing needs, must work as part of
a group and get along well with people but be a stand alone results
oriented performer.
