Hi!

I'm looking for a way to output data to a DirectInput device, namely a
Buzz!
(PS2 Buzz! handset for a quiz game) device.
The device supports light on/off commands to be sent to it - I guess we
aren't talking about ForceFeedback here but rahter some kind of
low-level
FileStream-output.

I've downloaded an example of how to activate/deactivate the light
using
DLLImports but not how to do it using DirectInput.
This example can be found here:
http://www.vsj.co.uk/articles/display.asp?id=600

The Joystick sample in the latest DX-SDK (2006-12) successfully reads
input
from the Buzz! device but I don't see any way to send commands to the
device
(other than ForceFeedback).

Could someone tell me if and how this can be acheived with DirectInput.

Best regards,
Richard
