When I run dxdiag, in the direct x area it says that d3dim700.dll is missing.
What do I need to do?

perhaps a reinstall of DX is required.

what OS, what version of DX? what version of DXDiag? how did you run DXDiag?

I have attempted to reinstall directx several times with no change.
OS windows xp
DX 9.0c
I'm not sure version of dxdiag
I ran dxdiag from start then run typing in dxdiag
