Hi all

I hope someone can help me...

In dx8.x there are some install options like dxsetup /install /silent ...
I have to install dx9.0a completly silent!

Is there a way to activate the command options?

I have already found an article in the web how to enable per hex editor the
command swith /packageinstall.
This command swith installes dx9.0a without any user prompt, but at the end
a msg box appears and asks to restart the computer!

any ideas would be helpful!
Thanks in advance.
Mario

There is no longer a silent install as users have to accept the EULA. If
you need this for deployment in an enterprise (or something of that matter),
please email dir...@microsoft.com and they should be able to help. You can
also write a custom installer using DirectXSetup() API which is silent.

Thanks Mike

I will try this way.

Is there a reason, why the command parameters are disabled in this version
of dx?

Thanks
Mario

Yes, so users do not bypass the EULA.
