Hi John. Sorry to be so long in replying. I haven't been able to get DIS10
to display anything other than what I described earlier. I give..

Btw, what would Digital Image Suite 2006 Anniversary Edition provide me that
I don't already have with Digital Image Suite 10?

Did you try reinstalling / updating your printer driver?

Not so much visually...but it would provide full
compatibility with Vista and I feel the 2006
version handles computer resources better.

It may even solve your printing template issues.
Did you try the Starter version just to see what
it would do?

One issue with some earlier versions was the
undo stack...IOW if you do lots of editing like
the Clone tool for example and every time you
do an edit it creates an undo point...the program
gets slower and slower until it freezes. I haven't
had this issue with the 2006 version.

Thanks for your note John. Both printer drivers were the most current. The
last time I remember seeing the other choices is back when I had an HP g95
All-In-One printer.

I'm gonna see if I can find a copy of the Anniversary Edition -- just for
the improved Vista compatibility.

Regards,

Howard Woodard

Why not try the 60 day Trial (Starter) version of
the 2006 program just to see if the printer templates
are any better.

Microsoft Digital Image

(this product line has been
discontinued but you can still
download the Starter Version
and run it for 60 days)

Hi John.

I'm such a sucker for having the latest versions of stuff. On your comment
about Vista compatibility I decided to go ahead and purchase the Anniversary
Edition -- I found it on eBay. I can't tell any difference and it didn't
make any difference in the photo paper sizes.

I like that it is better behaved under Vista so I'm happy.

Thanks,

Howard

Thanks for the update.

Enjoy the Anniversary Edition.

Also you may experience a performance
improvement when doing heavy editing...
and /or when opening several photos in
a batch.
