XP and Vista DDK compatablity

Hello

I'm updating a tool that was developed with VS 2005 SP1 and Microsoft
Platform SDK April 2005, Microsoft Windows SDK 6.1, Vista DDK 6001.18000

When I compile and build, I don't have any warnings, but when I run my
executable on a XP SP2 machine I hang up the machine and need to reboot to
get back to a normal state.

I'm just doing updates to a tool that had worked before, when we used DDK
3790.1830 and MS Platform SDK for Windows Server 2003 SP1 then It was
updated to use Vista DDK 6001.18000

Would I be running to a situation where I'm using Libs for VISTA that aren't
exactly compatible with XP Pro SP2?

Use XP or even w2k build env of the WDK, not Vista build env
