The tuner model name is AUTV002, it is a ATSC/NTSC/QAM/FM USB tuner.
there is no manufacturer name, so I have no idea. I've seen it
branded as AnyTV stick on eBay
So far, I went to this page auvitek.com, and found old unusable
drivers, I also tried here: szforwardvideo.com, and found the same
that I have now. On windows update there is nothing.
thanks,
Attach the hardware driver-less.
Start Device Manager, find the hardware there (with a yellow bang). Say Properties on it, then Details Tab and Hardware ID from the combobox.
Look at Vendor ID/Device ID there, then use Google with these IDs to try to find the driver on the web.

thanks, I came up with
Vendor ID 05e1
Device ID 0400
This tuner works in Media Center 7 as ATSC fine, but no audio in
NTSC and blue screen after 15 seconds.
Is not recognized as a clear QAM tuner whatsoever.
I have one of these; mfgr is "Auvitek Corp". Came with "Blaze Video
HDTV v3.5", which is a very competent basic recorder/player/DTV/NTSC/
player. The USB dongle-type tuner device is surprisingly sensitive
for DTV; haven't paid any attention to the NTSC or QAM capabilities.
Tried Blaze Video in vISTA without success. One of many pieces of
useful hardware out of luck in vISTA. Returned vISTA and got a
refund. WinXP sp3 still pulling the freight just fine.
