NDIS driver installation - Event log Event 4202

Hi All,

I have installed NDIS intermidiate filter driver on Windows Vista.
It shows follwing message on event logs

"The System detected that network Adapter Local Area Connection was
disconnected from the network and its network configuration has been
released. If the network adapter was not disconnected, this may
indicate that it has malfunctioned.
Try updating the driver for the network adapter."

Why does it occur?
Is it a known issue?
