Is anyone else as frustrated as I am with this new format?
I use Publisher and Clip Art extensively......to the
point, my husband calls me the 'Clip Art Queen'. Do you
also miss the page numbers and knowing ahead of time how
many pages you will be looking at? I'm truly frustrated
with the fact you can no longer sort by: New; Colorful;
Pastel; Cartoon and Black and White. It takes so much
more time because you have to look at all the art.

Do you think Microsoft will listen to us and how, best, do
we make our feelings know?

You can offer feedback and suggestions here. I'm sure Microsoft will listen
to any suggestions you have but for now you will probably need to adjust to
the new site.

Agree. I use clip art for a website and always sort by
file size. File size is no longer shown (without opening
properties on every graphic). And as you point out, you
can no longer tell how many pages are ahead of you.

We're definitely listening. You can give us feedback using the "Feedback"
link in the left-navigation on the site.

You can narrow your search to colorful/black&white/etc by using the
collections list at the bottom of the clip art homepage. Simply pick a
collection, then search within it.

With regard to knowing the number of pages of clips: This was an unfortunate
tradeoff from our newer search engine. Basically, we had a choice-- we
could either show you the number of clips found, or we could deliver those
clips to you 3 times faster. It was a tough call, but we think we made the
right decision for most of our customers.

This "update" is an atrocity. Updates should make the
service better! Not slower and inconvenient. I am using
Win XP, I have the newest pentium and tons of memory. I
can tell you without a doubt that this is NOT faster or
easier. I hate it. It used to be a fantastic service, but
now it's not worth it. I am glad you took the time to
assemble all of your pretty pictures but because of this
worthless "update" you will be the only ones to be seeing
them. The rest of us will use google image search and you
will become nothing more than a distant unpleasent memory.

Susan,
I am sorry about your reaction to the new clipart site. It is the very same clipart
you are use to seeing with 30,000 more images to choose. If you go to options at the
image site, (upper right hand corner) and select to see 48 images on the page you
maybe able to find the image you are looking for quicker. Google has a nice image
search engine, however chances are you will never find vector clipart unless you are
willing to buy a package.
