I have Office XP (Word 2002, etc.). When I find animated
clip art I like, I download it and copy it into a Word
doc. But, the animation does not work. It works sometimes
in PowerPoint. How can I get it to work in other documents
such as an Outlook email, a Word doc, etc.?

Animation only works in HTML, on the Outlook Express toolbar click format, Rich Text
(HTML), click insert, picture and browse to the animation.

In Word if you create your document as a web page then the animation will work.

Hi Mary. I saved my Word doc as a web page and tried to
insert an animated clip. It didn't work. What am I doing
wrong? I have Office XP.

Kim, Under file, click Web page preview. Does it animate?
