Hi,

in our F12 Setup most of all clients reports the message "No network
drivers found". All drivers are present !
Only after (sometimes) 10 reboots the setup resumes.

I've already restarted the WDS Service on the RIS Server
and deleted all *.pnf files.

But it didn't solved this issue.

Any ideas ?

Regards
Marcus

I guess you are still using old RIS legacy mode.
I would suggest you convert your old RIS images to the new format "wim"
images.

I once did quite a big deployment using RIS and ran into problem you
describe. I used "battle pack", that is, I had several "known good" NIC's
which I would fit into "complaining" computers. When the imaging was over, I
would simply take out my NIC and continue with the next batch of computers.

True - in addition you can check following articles :

"The operating system image you selected does not contain the necessary
drivers for your network adapter"

Simple and probably stupid question... How do I convert my old RIS images to
WIM images?

Thanks
Rob

You apply your RIS image, boot from WinPE and capture the image using
ImageX.

If you are running WDS in legacy mode you can easily right click on the
image in the WDS console and convert it to WIM. more information how you can
convert your "legacy" images into WIM files can be found here :
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc766320%28WS.10%29.aspx#BKMK_CreatingImagesUsingWDS

PS : There is also an command line option which you can use for scripting ->
WDSUTIL /Convert /?
