MDT 2010 with database 2 sites

I'm busy building an MDT 2010 solution. I'm hoping people can help me
or give advice about the following points.
How can I replicate MDT 2010 data. If I use standalone dfs to place
the deployment share on it. How does MDT take care of server specific
settings, like server name in bootstrap.ini
I also want to use SQL Express database, is there a white paper for
how to sync the 2 databases across the 2 sites.
