Hello,
We recently deployed ACT 5.5 to begn working on our Windows 7 migration and
noticed fairly early on that ACT 5.5 only draws compat information for
Windows 7 RC and not RTM. I've also noticed that the Compatibility Center
(www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility) is still branded for Vista. We'd
like to continue planning for our Windows 7 deployment but I'm not sure how
solid the data is until RTM is supported. Is there any timeline that I can
update our roadmaps with and if that information cannot be posted here, is
there a recommended route for me to go as we are under NDA.

Please let me know.

Hi David,

according to Chris Jackson's blog you do not have to wait for ACT 6.0:
"ACT 5.5 is ready to go for your Windows 7 migrations (in fact, that’s what
it was designed for). For those of you who are bothered by the “RC” moniker,
well, that’s an easy one. It’s a server-side change, and we’ll be removing RC
from the name around GA. So, hopefully that will defuse that one."

Hope that helps,
