Data Collector and Agent errors

Is anyone aware of an incompatibilities or issues with the ACT Data
Collector? I have 25 machines with XP SP3 and various apps. 3 of them work
with no issues, but 20+ have errors with the DC service. The agent installs,
then appears to uninstall? I then get DC errors. Here are the event log
entries:

More info.

The afsetup program runs. The data collector starts, then immediately has a
fatal error, it stops, and then uninstalls.
