Does ACT 5.5 require a domain or can it be used in a workgroup environment?

Hi Gary,

ACT does not require a domain, you can also analyze computers in a
workgroup. Just take care to share the log processing folder (Output
Location) correctly.

Have a nice day,
Martin

Yes indeed you can - to answer my own question - you must give the anonymous
logon account modify access to the logging share you create and you have to
enable the guest account and give it modify access. I found one paragraph in
a troubleshooting article that describes it - but it worked like a charm
after doing those things. It was tough to find the info because every
article assumes you are in a domain.
