I have more or less the same problem installing on a W2K server SP4 and
having the following log file:

Checking for any previously installed SAT Host version information...complete.
Checking for any previously installed SAT Guest version
information...complete.

Welcome to the Setup Analysis Tool (SAT) Installer.

Installing the SAT Guest only...

Storing the SAT Guest version information...Setting the SAT Guest version
information...complete.
complete.
ggo-equ396: Creating the SAT Guest directories...failed.
The SAT Guest failed with error code 0x80070035.
An error occurred. Rolling back the SAT Guest installation...
Checking for any previously installed SAT Guest version
information...complete.
Checking for any previously installed SAT Host version information...complete.
Clearing the SAT Guest version information...complete.
The roll back of the SAT Guest installation was successful.
The SAT installation failed.
Failure error code was 0x80070035.

And also had read every documentation available with no exit.
Any help would be usefull.
