[Filetopia user]

I'm a user in a (so far) small but very nice Internet
community. The reason for me posting to this group is that
i felt that it would not be too much of topic. If so don't
worry, this is a one timer only!

What is filetopia? A network client and server system
allowing users to share and download files all controlled
by the user himself.

Unlike for example napster this program gives you the full
control as to witch files should be shared and with whom!
Also this is not limited to .mp3 files.

A nice chat system very much like that used in irc makes
some of it's channels really nice to hang out in. Since
it's still pretty new ideas for the program is welcomed by
the author who can often be found online!

All traffic is encrypted and the users online at the moment
are pretty security aware, that means no one knows anybody
by name and that's the way we like to keep it. That is the
reason for me posting this anonymously.

So who might find it useful? If you are a collector of some
kind, for example mid's or mp3 or even jpg's for that
matter chanses are that you will find other collectors
here. Perhaps you would just like to chat away with some
nice people? I have personally not found anything as nice
anywhere else!

download of about 1 Mb, installs cleanly in one directory
with option to not write anything to the registry, the
client is only available for the microsoft windows platform
so far.
