This was discovered by me from this meta solution. As evident in this meta solution, this problem would not only stop YT videos, but also twitter links/videos etc. And may be some other external media links too. So all problems are solved now.

I have set up a master password on firefox and the browser asks for it at unexpected time. Not every time in the start (so it isn't useful to "lock" the browser. Someone may auto-login to a website without typing the master password), just at "random" time.
I don't really care about "locking" my browser, I just want to protect my set of passwords from unauthorised view. How can I make firefox ask for the master password ONLY when trying to show passwords?
Changing security.password_lifetime to a large value didn't work as a semi-solution, because it will ask again at random time if I restart firefox. I would also like to avoid using a separate password manager software.
What you can do is ensure that it will only ask you for the master password once per browser session, which is controlled by the config setting security.ask_for_password as mentioned elsewhere (set it to 0).
Or, you can disable the master password. Your passwords will still not be shown visibly by default when you are using them, only when you go in and view them in the password manager. There is nothing wrong with finding the right balance between security and convenience for you - if you are annoyed by needing to put in your master password too much, and don't mind if Firefox can use your saved passwords without it, then a master password is not for you. Unfortunately it won't then be able to make the passwords invisible to users of your browser, though.
I have a work and personal 1password account. In the latest firefox extension updates when I have timed out both accounts get locked. I can't unlock the other one without locking the other account. Extremely frustrating and a breaking change imo. I have to close all firefox tabs and restart to gain access again to both at the same time.
This workflow is extremely annoying because to sign into the other account I have to lock the first account. This workflow is not only awkward but it means I have to keep on logging in and out constantly to get access. Please fix this as it's a terrible experience.
I have always been confused by this, but have never really sought an explanation. Would anyone out there have an idea of why I can publish map services to Portal and can then visualize and interact with those map products using EI and Chrome, but when I use Firefox only my basemap loads, and none of my layers?
At first I thought it was my machine, so I didn't think anything of it, but we are only just implementing our web based GIS and now we are getting more interest and users. However, it turns out that it's not just my machine as I set up a co-worker to experiment with our new web application and he too was unable to load any of the layers using Firefox, but with EI and Chrome it was fine.
This is also a somewhat of an uphill battle because our IT department does not support Firefox, only Chrome and IE. This is sort of limiting because everyone in our office is using a Logitech mouse/keyboard configuration that has some issues with AGOL when zooming. Of course, there are only two of us using AGOL :-), so this isn't a major issue yet, but we're also now just configuring ArcGIS for Server which is probably what more in our office will be using. Chrome also had issues when we wanted to use our security camera feeds to points on a map (it required us to download QuickTime, which is not supported in Chrome, nor on Windows 10 I believe).
Hello,
I can't make ibus work in firefox (33.1.1).
I works fine with QT/KDE and a lot of gtk or other applications (gedit, thunderbird, gimp, skype).
BUT still nothing for firefox, like it's not taken into account, I type with my normal keyboard, not with ibus.
I didn't try this :
2. So I can only start Firefox in Sandboxie by running the "run web browser Sandboxed" application. However, it seems that whenever I try to open a new window, the new window runs into issue #1, no websites load.

I had a few issues with my website when viewed on firefox and I've been trying to incorporate some css that targets only that specific browser because IE and Chrome seem to be working just fine. Eventually I found this code and decided to try it but I was disappointed when it didn't work. Maybe there's something I did wrong?
The correct way to resolve this issue is what suggested by my colleague, still, if you want that to be solved only CSS, you can try the following custom CSS by adding to the Theme Options > CSS
so I've tried this on Edge (chromium), Brave (also chromium), Firefox and Emby Theater on Windows (Microsoft store) and none of them are doing av1 playback. FF logs only show h264 like that, the other ones I mentioned show h264/h265/hevc. I can post the logs for one of the other ones if that's any help!
On my Presta 1.7 instance on
www.lorisvelos.ch, a strange error occurs. I noticed it on two completely independent module pages thus far, and it only appears in Firefox browsers and only on about 8/10 computers (independent of Firefox version or OS). I mean that, I tested it on serveral machines, on two it did not throw the errors, on the others it did.
Originally I thought the error might be in the modules, but as the two completely unrelated modules throw the exact same one, it has to be a central issue. I found it to occur "only" on these two modules thus far.
Mattches can you take a look at all of this? Not only the issue here, but what Chocoholic was saying in regards to issue with Brave Wallet when they were trying so send crypto. I guess somehow people are seeing a conflict between the two.
The only possible way this can happen is if there is some application that is controlling OS/system settings for multiple other apps (in this case, browsers). As I said before, it is quite literally impossible for settings between FF and Brave to control one another without a 3rd party app or process doing that work.
Was working in Brave with only Brave open. First instance of loading Firefox and Brave simultaneously caused an error in Brave. After that, I cleared Brave cookie/javascript/ and site permissions closed and reopened Brave/site and still broke. Repeated clear/resets, closed Brave and rebooted computer. Error still occurs. I guess I broke that one!
As of version 9, Safari browser allows insecure web socket connections. Internet Explorer never allowed non SSL/TLS web socket connections from HTTPS websites. Chrome used to allow it behind a flag, but after the Chrome 44 update, this is no longer supported. Firefox allows it behind a flag (as explained earlier in this article), but it is not recommended. Going forward, only secure (SSL/TLS) web socket connections can be made from Receiver for HTML5.
The villain of the 1984 film Ghostbusters was the fictional deity Zuul who possesses the character Dana Barrett and declares: "There is no Dana. There is only Zuul."[18] The creators of XUL, which is pronounced the same as Zuul, made the slogan "There is no data. There is only XUL!", part of which became the XML namespace.[19]
Try another browser (Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, ...). If it works in another browser, you can report the issue to us. It is then very likely that we are currently having a software error that only affects a certain browser.
