Help anyone! I have had an HP 930C USB printer hooked up to my computer
without a problem for a few years now. I recently installed a cable modem
(comcast) with the customer install kit. I had the option of using a USB or
Ethernet connection. I tried the USB connection and could not get it
working. Spoke on the phone with Comcast tech support who couldn't figure it
out either. Finally, he recommended I bag the USB installation and buy an
Ethernet card. That didn't work either. Tech support sent someone to my
house and we eventually got it working. The cable modem is working now with
the Ethernet connection but whenever I try to print something now, windows
(98SE) crashes. It's too much to suppose that my problemless USB printer has
problems now after a failed USB cable modem installation without it having
anything to do with the USB cable modem installation. Any ideas? Comcast, of
course, told me I have a printer problem and it has nothing to do with them.
I tried removing the USB drivers from device manager and re-installing
them - no change...

Regards,
Andy
