Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has come accross this. I've just installed DPM
2007 with latest feature pack onto a Windows 2008 server in a test
environment. Configured the backup disks, pushed out the agent 2.0.8107.0,
onto another 2008 server. All went ok. Came to try and back up a folder
with 2 files in and it fails saying data inconsistent with the following
error message. Try and synch data, it then says verfiying but eventually
fails with the following error.

I think you have to install "windows backup" as a feature on the target 2008
server.

Does stop protection (with retain data) and reprotection solves the issue?
If not, Can you please open a support case with Microsoft?

I have tried this but still have the problem.

Will I have to pay to open a support call with Microsoft?

Thank you

Paul
