SQL Agent Jobs

Does anyone know how to troubleshoot SQL Agnet Job Failures?
I keep getting failures for some jobs. "Process Exit Code 1".

Running TriggerJog form the command line with the job arguments didnt help.

Hi,

As basic santiy test, please make sure that SQL Server Agent service is
running and has the right credentials. If scheduled jobs are failing, please
look up the event viewer for relevant SQL Server agent issues and paste them
here.

Mesasge from job history: The step did not generate any output. Process Exit
Code 1. The step failed.

Right now all my DPM SQL Agent jobs are failing, but i've been having some
strange networking problems (request timed out on a ping to localhost).

At one time only some jobs were failing, some were running fine.
Now DPM reports all protection groups as green.
