I'm running some (trial) programs that require OLE DB (MDAC). These programs
show a 'provider' for MS OLE DB drivers in their config. I'm trying to get
to the same settings via Vista itself but can't find a tab under Admin to
show them. I can get to ODBC drivers but not OLE.
There's basically no (local) Vista help on MDAC.
How can I access these settings directly via Vista?

You can't. The Vista administration tab is only for managing DNS ODBC
connections (DSN = Data Source Name) and cannot be used for either DSN-less
ODBC connections or for OLEDB connections (unlike ODBC, all OLEDB connection
are DSN-Less).
