Does anybody know how many active connections can be open
in the MS Access simultaneously?

Hi Mahesh

The theoretical maximum is 256. However, Jet will use some of thes for it's
own stuff, so the actual max users will be less that that.

I think that you may be talking about users, not connections. The practical
limit, if the users are entering data normally, not whipping around in a
loop adding records, and if all users are going to have write access, is
10-20, depending on the network, the hardware, and exactly what the users
are doing.

You'll probably run out of network bandwidth or slow the app down to parade
rest before you get anywhere near the theoretical Max.

Thanks,
