I have never used ODBC before, but I need to read records in an act database
from access 2000, but do not need to alter them. I am guessing that I will
be able to link the act database to access via ODBC and then read it like a
normal table. Has anyone has any good links to getting started with ODBC, or
any experience in this subject that they could share with me.Thanks in
advance.

Act! uses dBase (*.dbf) files. Therefore you should be able to use your
Microsoft dBase ODBC driver.
