Hi all,

I created an aspx page which connects to MSCRM database and presents
information from different tables onto one page.

The aspx page was developed in the WebMatrix environment and works fine in
that environment.
I now need to place the aspx file on the MSCRM server so that it is
accessible to a group of people.

I have placed the aspx document into c:\inetpub\wwwroot on the MSCRM server
hoping that when it is accessed the contents will be rendered.

The problem is that, the server doesn't seem to render or process the
contents of the file.

Can anyone offer any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong or not doing at
all. Do I need to package it for the server?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Pere

I would not install any code directly in the CRM Root as that will also require
adding dll's to the CRM BIN directory which I do not recommend. Better bet is
to create a seperate virtual directory on the server and install the code there.

Hi Matt,

Thanks for your reply. I have setup a virtual directory and that hasn't made
any difference. The code seems to execute the first time the page is loaded.

I have a List box and I am using the 'selectedindexchanged' event to
populate the rest of the screen. This event doesn't trigger when I run the
code on the server.

Do you mind if I dump the code for you to browse over?

Regards,

Pere

CRM disables VIEWSTATE. You need to enable VIEWSTATE in your web.config on the
virtual directory.

You do that in the web.config of your web app.

Bespoke is derived from bespeak that means what we speak we can say "our specifications" or to "speak for something", in the specialised meaning "to give order for it to be made". Normally bespoke tailoring is the buyer's total control over the fabric used, over the features of the bespoke, also over the fit of the bepspoke, and also the way the garment should be made. bespoke tailoring is done by the adriot tailors on the user's specification. DAVID-FASHIONS are one of the best bespoke tailor.
