This is definately a pop-up blocker issue. To verify, try going to
http://crmservename/loader.aspx. If this loads properly, then there is a
popup blocker issue (either SP2 or Google or any of a number of different
IE toolbars).

Ok, I know all about the issues with SP2. I've read all the KB's I can find
and I can't get this problem fixed. Everything seems to run fine on all the
2K systems ( I can even access CRM from the 2003 Server), however the XP
systems will not access the site. When you pull up the address for CRM you
get a login prompt (ok..good so far) then it trys to log you in.
Immediately, the browser window closes and you're back to square one. I
have
tried the fix in the KB re: Pop-Up blocking and Security settings but to no
avail. What gives? Anyone...Anyone...Bueller...Bueller...

Help please.....

Thanks for the reply. I finally found the problem. It wasnt just the popup
blocker, it was the google toolbar itself. I had to totally disable it and
then it all worked fine.

Yes I realize that. But evn with it disabled and the one in IE disabled AND
having the site listed in trusted sites for security, it still wouldnt work.
I have since spoken with a few other people that had the same issue. They
were told it was simply the pop up blocker but removing/turning it off per
the KB's didnt help. In the end they had to totally remove Google. It also
seems that if you reinstall it though everything is ok with the blocker just
disabled. There must be some file in Google Toolbar that at some time did or
did not update properly.

nice idea but there is not some hidden piece of Microsoft CRM that turns the
entire system off if google is detected :-)

Turning the pop-up blocker off worked for me.
