Hello Everyone,
Please pardon me for insane crossposting. I waited for almost a day without
any reply to few groups. So I decided to post to bunch of selective groups.

In my home version of Word, when I click on File, the only visible choices
are Open / Close type options; Page SetUp, Print Preview, and Print are
missing from the list. I can get to them, but it requires using down
arrows at the bottom of the choice box, then scrolling down to find them.
Can I change a preference somewhere to make these Print options become
viewable as soon as I click on File?
Cheers,
Nexus

If you look carefully, you send the post to none of the relevant newsgroups
you should be sending to. Note that access here means Microsoft Access
which is a Database software, not the normal access.

I can see about 30 NewsGroups "microsoft.public.word.*" dedicated to MS Word
and I am sure you can find one or two suitable groups to send to, perhaps
"microsoft.public.word.newusers".

I think all you need to do is to reset the Word's MenuBar but I leave it for
the Word expert.

He needs also to understand some basics about Office 2000 onwards in general,
like the behaviour of "Frequently used items" in the menu bar. When in doubt,
read the documentation! (e.g. F1, "menu bar")

It's certainly inappropriate for Pastus to be using a pseudonym "Nexus".

Hi Chris

I was thinking of the hiding of infrequently used menu items in O2K as well
but I wasn't sure whether he uses W2K or this hiding affects Print menu
item.

Cheers
