A supposedly respected food critic recommended a local chain of Mexican seafood
restaurants -- high quality, reasonable prices, fabulous service, etc.
Unfortunately, nothing on the menu indicated that the scallops were the little
imitation ones that are instantly recognizable because they're rolled up flat
stuff rather than little solid chunks, and they were lukewarm by the time they
got to us. They taste OK, but are way cheaper than real scallops.
Only explanation is that the critic was paid off. Fish come in four flavors:
scallop, shrimp, non-fishy (halibut) and fishy (everything else that lives
underwater). Unfortunately most of them seem to be fishy.
