Hi,

Has anyone got experience of sending a catalog to Commerce Server through a
Biztalk port? I understand that I can do this using an AIC/XLang component
call referencing the commerce server catalog manager component.

I am receiving some bog standard XML.

What I was wondering was did anyone have any recommendations of how I import
the catalog from my xml.

I seem to have two approaches open to me:
1) build the commerce server catalog xml and call the importxml method
2) use the commerce server object model to populate/create a catalog

Are these the only approaches open to me or have I missed something? Out of
the two is it best to use the object model approach?

any help much appreciated.

Ben

We developed a third-party API that migrates ANY
catalog to COMMERCE SERVER 2000. The API connects to any
data source, selects catalog hierarchy and data, maps this
catalog info. to an xml file that conforms to CS2000
schema, and automatically imports this xml catalog into
CS2000 Bizdesk. Browse our site http://csmigrate.com or
send us an email at ad...@csmigrate.com if your are
interested.
