Commerce server property meta data

I have created a new property in Commerce server 2007 Catalog and Schema
Manager. I added that property in Property Meta data. I can see in database,
that a new column has been created in CatalogsAttribute table in
ProductCatalog database.
However, I cannot see that field when I create a new property in schema
manager. What I know is, Catalog and schema manager, cant show the new
properties in property creation dialog box. So my question is, how can I
enter value to the new property that I have associated to the property meta
data.

example.
New property name: available_countries
Place: added in property metadata. (ideally it should be displayed at the
level of other properties of a property like "Display on Site" or "display as
base property"
Value: How could i enter the value into this new property, as it does not
appear
