Could you tell me the POP mail server of hotmail

Dear,

I want to add my hotmai accout to outlook express so that I needn't go to
the hotmail site read my mails. I typed the incoming mail(POP3) server:
pop.hotmail.com: and the outgoing (smtp) server: smtp.hotmail.com.
but alway could not find host.

Could you give me a help?

Is IE5.5 out ?
Where can you download it?
5.01 is the latest I have seen..

In Outlook Express 5, do the following...

Click on Tools | Accounts
Click Add
Select Mail... from the popup menu
Enter your name and click Next
Make sure the first option is selected, and enter your hotmail email address
Click Next

You'll see here that the Incoming Mailserver type should say 'HTTP'. Leave
the server settings at the defaults, and continue like it was a normal mail
account.

when you set the account up in IE, pick HTTP host.

AFAIK there is no POP3 address for Hotmail, but if you specify that it
is an HTTP server, you can send / rcv mail with IE5..

If you are using OE5, just type your hotmail account in the "E-mail
address"blank. Then the follows will be done automatically.
