Deleted Items folder

Hi There,

I would like to know if there is any CMS API to purge items in "Deleted
Items" folder.Also any way we can delete a posting permanantly through CMS
API ? Posting.Delete() will only move it to "Deleted bin".But I want to purge
the posting instead of delete.Any way to do this programatically ?

Appreciate any help.
