Hello,

I'm trying to access the MCMS Template Explorer in Visual Studio 2005
for an MCMS web site that was upgraded from 2003. I have CMS 2002 SP2
installed, and I have followed the instructions found at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/906145. I have also read
on numerous other posts issues that others have had, and have tried
the suggested solutions:

- setting regional settings to US English
- creating web sites with "HTTP"option
- ensure virtual directories are created under the default web site

I do eventually get the Template Explorer when I create a completely
new MCMS Web Site in VS2005, if I create the web site, close down
visual studio, edit the vwd.Webinfo to set the CmsEnabled attribute to
"1" (for some reason that value is "2" by default). If I then reopen
the site with visual studio, I get the Template Explorer.

However, when it comes to the upgraded solution, I cannot get the
Template Explorer to show - I've tried:

- deleting the existing vwd.WebInfo file and replacing it with one
from a new project (which works properly on its own)
- adding a new web site of type "MCMS Web Application" to the solution
- adding a new web site of type "MCMS Web Application" to the solution
and manually editing the vwd.WebInfo file

Has anyone out there come across anything remotely similar to this
situation? If so, any suggestions for how to get the Template
Explorer back would be appreciated.

Thanks
