Do you have the Office 2003 service pack? This file is updated in the service pack.

Is your video driver current?

Thanks Mary,
I checked and updated the video driver, got the Office 2003 service pack. I
even reinstalled Office 2003 prior to getting the SP. MSTORDB.exe is still
causing 100% resource use when exiting word after inserting a clipart. Thanks.

Try a "detect and repair" in Word. Do you have Norton? If you do disable "script
blocking" and in Norton options, disable "Office plug-ins" as well.

Mary,
Thanks again. I followed your suggestions of disabling script blocking and
office plug-ins in Norton. The problem still exists. Anything else? Thanks
for all your help, very much appreciated, hopefully we can solve this!

Might be your Organizer is damaged.
The Organizer is a hidden file, in folder options, view, tick "show hidden files and
folders."
Browse to a folder similar to this
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\Microsoft\Clip Organizer
Rename mstore10.mgc to mstore10.old. Start the Clip Organizer.
Clip Organizer re-creates the Mstore10.mgc file, and then prompts you to scan your
hard disk drives again for clip art to be categorized and cataloged.

I also have problems with freezing and I use 2007. I tried your suggestion
but got the message that the file was in use...

Is the solution trhe same for 2007?

Start, Microsoft Office Tools, Microsoft Clip Organizer, Tools, Compact.
Your temporary cache may be full. In Internet Explorer, Tools, Internet
Options, Delete. You want to delete the Temporary Files.

Other than that, your best solution is renaming the Mstore10.mgc file.

The Organizer basically hasn't changed since 2002.
