You can use DCPROMO to demote and recreate the domain or rely on
alternate UPN suffixes and new domain trees to mask it.

Rebuild. If you attempt to continue you will have a number
of fixes to deal with, primarily for SPNs. It is much easier
in the long run to implement as planned, even at the cost of
stepping backwards sometimes.
