Can I use 70-216 as the core for MCSE and as an elective
for MCSA? I have already passed 70-210, 70-215, and 70-
216. I was going to take 70-218 so that I get MCSA and
then continue on with 70-217, 70-219, 70-220 and 70-221 to
get MCSE.

In response to your message... Yes
I am doing the same thing. The 216 is good for the MCSA
and the 218 Is good for an elective on the MCSE. So once
you get your MCSA you only need to finish 217, 219 and
something else. I am choosing the 214 and adding security
+ from comptia to get the MCSA:Security cert as well and
the 214 satisfies one of the MCSE tests.
