MCTS 70-536 ceritification sucks?

Hi

I am currently studying to get the MCTS 70-536 exam and I think it
sucks!

Why? I mean what is the benefit of having to memorize all the calling
signatures
for various methods and classes?

I mean when I employ people I rather have someone who can explain how
things works in detail and understands it than someone who can
remember
the exact code lines to create an app domain!

I just feel that it is a waste of time trying to memorize the code and
methods
when I could have been focusing my attention to more important parts
like
really understand how things work. What's the point?

Are there any plans to change this in the future? so that you dont
have to remember
method signatures and exact code lines?
