You might try posting to the microsoft.public.windowsxp.network_web
newsgroup. This newsgroup supports Microsoft's Broadband Networking
hardware and software only. The real source of help on a Linksys product is
their support area.

Phew - nice to have company! Will do Jax - off hunting again now. Have also
posted on the linksys.org forum so hopefully someone will know how to fix
this (I'm amazed that this product is on sale)

I know how frustrating it is, but keep calling till you get someone who knows
what they are talking about. I had the problem and had to fix it by putting
in 192.168.1.1 and logging in as admin. I don't remember all I did as the guy
on the phone put me through it...keep calling and good luck
Cheers, Caddy

I understand that a 4 ort is max u can use with some isp servers when it
comes to a router. I never set the settings on it. Just plug and play. it
automatically sets everything for u. go to www.linksys.com and u can
download a control panel to help. passwords for routers are all same. admin
admin reset to factory defaults . also u have to set up a home small office
network when using a router.
