BTS2009 only Enterprise SSO + Business Rules Engine install

I'm trying to configure BizTalk 2009 on top of Windows Server 2008 R2 + SQL
Server 2008 R2... Enterprise SSO + Business Rules Engine both install without
any issues... everything else fails.

My BizTalk server + SQL server are on the same box... and I'm kind of
wondering if attaching the machine to a domain right after installing the OS
wasn't the best idea... I have a feeling there's some weird permissions
problem associated with the domain... otherwise I don't see why the admin
user on the box can't successfully install all of the features.

I'd like to post the log file generated by the config utility but I guess it
won't fit the msg size limit on here.
