I am having difficulty generating a schema for an IDOC to use with the
Microsoft BizTalk Adapter for mySAP. I am using the latest version of the
adapter, version 2.0.
I am attempting this process in this way:
1) Within Visual Studio 2008, i create a Biztalk project
2) Then I add a Generated Items and Consume Adapter Service
3) I then setup a connection the SAP host and try to pull the IDOC schema
for ORDERS message type
Ok. I have done this with two completely different SAP systems. When I do
it with our internal SAP system I get the following error:
Error while retrieving or generating the WSDL. Adapter message: Details:
ErrorCode=RFC_EXCEPTION. ErrorGroup=RFC_ERROR_APPLICATION_EXCEPTION.
SapErrorMessage=OBJECT_UNKNOWN. AdapterErrorMessage=Error returned by
RfcCallReceiveEx while calling RFC: IDOCTYPE_READ_COMPLETE..
I believe this error is related to authorization. Can anyone confirm this?
Can anyone point me in the direction of what authorization I need in SAP?
On a different SAP system where I have complete access the process runs for
a long time and then eventually I get an OutOfMemory exception. This is
interesting because the message usage never goes above 2 GB and I have 4 GB
in my machine. I am wondering if the memory issue is on the SAP host. Does
anyone have any experience with problem?
Any pointers or hints on how to get this to work fully would be greatly
appreciated!
Thanks,
Kent
