Thank you for registering for Tech·Ed 2005! I am a track owner for the
Connected Systems Infrastructure track for Tech Ed 2005, and my job is to
ensure that we provide you with the content you need at Tech Ed to do your
job efficiently and successfully.
Tech Ed is an event that the BizTalk team holds near and dear to our heart.
It is the premier event of the year where we get hear your feedback on our
technologies and share with you all the exciting new things we have planed
for you down the road. We've invested a great deal of time and energy in
Tech Ed 2005 in particular as we are debuting BizTalk 2006 and the product
team simply can't wait to share with you all the great work we've done in
this release.
BizTalk Server 2006 Enhancement Sneak Preview
BizTalk 2006 will provide support for the concept of an "application" so you
can easily manage all artifacts relating to one application, whether that be
starting/stopping the application or packagaking and deploying the solution
from one environment to another. We also added a Group Hub page that allows
the IT operator to gauge the health of the entire BizTalk group in one
consolidate page. For real time Business Activity Monitoring (BAM), BizTalk
2006 will provide you a portal for easy viewing of BAM data and support for
business activity subscription, alerts and notifications. In the runtime
engine, we now support in order message processing, non-atomic interchange,
error handling orchestration for automatic error processing, and a slew of
new adapters including the POP3 adapter, WSE 2.0 adapter and SPS adapter.
