I used BTARN 3.5 successfully sent my partner a 3A4 and received a response
with first ACK MessageCategory=25. However, the second ACK, instead of
MessageCategory=50, I received a -99 with the following error text in the
ServiceContent:

"Public initiator received an invalid Response message from Responder and
has sent an exception signal."

Does someone know how to resolve this issue?

Thanks

I see the same error with a 3B12. Did you find a solution for this?

Thanks

No, not yet. I'm thinking the possibility of the ACK sent back from my
partner might need a different DTD which is not exist on my server, however,
I don't know in which folder Biztalk will be looking for DTD.

Have you looked at the Double Action tutorial?

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb950399.aspx

The 3A4 PIP is described there.

I believe the 3A4 confirmation is standard in BTARN, but if necessary
you can import new schemas as described here:

Biztalk support 3A4 V02.02, however, my partner is using V02.00. I imported
the DTD but there was a bug in the add schema process so I used a
not-so-completed version of XML instead. It didn't work either. Finally, I
downloaded a hotfix (944320)to resovle the DTD conversion to XSD issue. Now
the whole process is working fine.
