Hi

I'm trying to install the HL7 Accelerator Enterprise edition 2.0 for
BizTalk Developer on XP with SP3 installed and SQL Server 2008. But,
I'm getting the specified account 'xxx' is invalid, unknown user name
or bad password error.

The user I'm using is a member of the biztalk server administrators
group and has permissions to all the databases in the sql server
instance.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Many thanks

HL7 Accelerator Enterprise edition 2.0 does NOT support SQL Server
2008, so I am sure that it will throw some kind of error while
attempting to configure.
Also, how did you get BizTalk Server 2006 R2 to install in that
configuration?

I installed BiztTalk Server 2009 and Mssql 2008 because I thought Hl7
Accelerator Enterprise edition 2.0 is supported with these two components.
Would it be better to install Hl7 Accelerator together with BizTalk Server
2006 R2 and Mssql 2005?
Many thanks!

I've just found this link:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee409458%28BTS.10%29.aspx
and that's what i have installed (BizTalk 2009 Accelerator for HL7, BizTalk
Server 2009, mssql 2008).
Might it still be better to install other (older) software versions instead
(if so, which ones)?
Thanks a lot

I just realized that the HL7 Accelerator 2009 says "2.0" on all of the
parts.
So, yes, BTAHL7 2009 supports Win 2008 and SQL 2008.
But unfortunately it does not support Windows XP... regardless of the
service pack level.

in spite of that, it probably will install, but I am sure you are
typing something in wrong in the configuration.
The only place that the username password is required is setting up
the Logging Service account, so the only thing that is happening there
is that the account is being validated.

Are you connected to the domain that the account belongs to (i.e.
VPNed in remotely, or on the same physical lan)?

The windows user account that I use for Logging Service is the same as I
used for the installation of Mssql and Biztalk Server.
Everything was installed on the same (local) machine so there's no VPN or
LAN between.
Therefore I tried with different users but I got the same failure.
I also uninstalled Mssql, SSO and Biztalk and reinstalled everything but the
result was the same.
