We are running the BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 3.0 SP1 + BizTalk FileAct
and InterAct Adapters for SWIFT 2.3 SP1 on Bts 2006 R2. Our BizTalk
Application seems to be working fine, but when the SNL server is initialized,
I see this error in the event log:
_______________________
Event Type: Error
Event Source: BizTalk FileAct and InterAct Adapters for SWIFT - Receive
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1300
User: N/A
Description:
Error processing message: The EXECUTE permission was denied on the object
'adm_Group_Enum', database 'BizTalkMgmtDb', schema 'dbo'.
______________________
Only admin and operators have execute permissions on this SP. Can I ignore
this error, or can I safely grant execute rights for the account under which
the FileAct adapter runs?

Hi Nielsen,

You should NOT ignore this error.
The error you have mentioned is only for FileAct and InterAct adapter and
will affect only SNL (SWIFT Connectivity). All other BizTalk
artifacts/applications will would work fine.

I am not aware of your end-to-end requirements but here is what I would do.
- Create a Host and its instance that runs under credential that has
execution rights
- Use the new host for all SWIFT operations.

You can also use existing Host.

You need not give explicit permissions to SQL Server. Instead, add the user
(under which BTS Host is running) in proper domain group.
