Sometimes I can send a pic attched to an email and the receiving party can
treat it as a slide show and see every picture in my gallery, plus some that
have attached themselves unwantingly. Sometimes this is embarrassing. How
can I stop this?

You are either clicking on My pictures, or a complete folder of photos and
attaching the lot.
